Valis Website Now Available in 20 Languages

Our localization and internationalization efforts continue with valis.xyz, our website for end users.

Following the October 2024 launch of the Valis Blog in 15 languages and last week's split of our digital presence into valis.xyz for users and valis.team for collaborators, we are pleased to announce the full localization and internationalization of valis.xyz.

Full-site localization

The entire valis.xyz website, not just the blog, is now multilingual. Instead of a language selector limited to blog posts, users can now set their preferred language for the entire site by clicking the globe icon in the top-right navigation bar.

Expanded language support

We have increased language coverage from 15 to 20 languages, with a focus on the Nordic region. The following languages have been added:

• Danish (Denmark).
• Finnish (Finland).
• Norwegian (Norway).
• Portuguese (Portugal).
• Swedish (Sweden).

This regional expansion aligns with our goal of improving accessibility in key European markets.

Supported locales

A "locale" refers to a combination of language and region. For example, "en-us" represents English (United States), while "en-uk" refers to English (United Kingdom).

Below is the full list of locales currently supported by Valis. For each supported language, we aim to offer a complete experience for end users, including localized interfaces, documentation, and support.
